01: c: Word Tabular Format

  1. Word tabular format is for adding multiple choice, true/false, matching questions.
  2. Word tabular format should be saved in 2010 docx format (If your MS Word is in latest version, while saving click on checkbox maintain compatibility with previous version of word and save docx file).
 
 
 
 
 
 

To import word tabular format:

  • Create a word file with the below format.
  • Click on import and choose Word tabular format.
  • Select the Category / sub category under which you would like to upload or import  the questions into. For Example Physics Quiz 1 -> Difficult.
  • Select the docx file in “Choose a File” or drag & drop the file.
  • Press Import

Please download the template : word-table

  1. Add category in “Category name”.
  2. Add Question Text in “Question text”.
  3. Change the code according to type of question(i.e, text which is highlighted).
    • MC – Multiple Choice Questions(with only one answer)
    • MA – Multiple choice Questions with more than one answers (mark to be given when any one of  answers are marked). Grade can be given 50 – 50 if two answers are available.
    • MS – Multiple choice with more than one answer (mark to be given when all answers are marked).Grade can be given 100 – 100 for two answers.
    • TF – True / False.
    • MAT – Matching.
    • SA – Short Answer.
    • ES – Essay.
    • CL – Cloze (Fill-in-the-blanks or Embedded answers question). Use italic to enter Short Answer items, and underline to enter Numerical items.
  4. Shuffle the choices? – Yes / No (Yes, if needed).
  5. Penalty for each incorrect try – This is only for adaptive questions and can be left blank.
  6. Negative Marking – can be provided against each of the wrong options as “-100% ” for -1, “-50%” for -0.5 and so on.
  7. One line gap between Question 1 & Question 2.
